Arthropodium strictum/Chocolate Lily is an edible species from the Liliaceae/Lily family and has a distribution on Australia’s East Coast. The tubers are edible and we cook and eat them as you would a small potato. The photograph’s below are taken of a plant from my garden, as the Arthropodium species are becoming endangered and wild harvesting is not advised.
