Kunzea ambigua/White Kunzea is an edible species from the Myrtaceae family, with a distribution in Tasmania’s coastal areas. The fresh and dried leaves are edible with a unique savory flavor and we eat the leaves in our roast beef and on cheesy garlic bread. We sometimes dunk the leaf spike in a cup of hot water and honey for a hearty drink.
