Correa alba/Cape Barren Tea/White Correa is an edible species from the Rutaceae/Boronia family with a distribution in coastal heathlands and dunes of south and south-eastern Australia, photographed here in my garden. The leaves and white star-shaped flowers are edible with a lasting menthol flavor. We steep the dry or fresh leaves in hot water for a drink or to add as flavoring to desserts and cake icing. We also eat the flowers fresh as a strong-flavored garnish on salads.
